FACEBOOK Adventure
Facebook seems to be on many people’s thoughts, and I wonder why, I know that like the “baby boomer” generation might not understand all the good things kids now days actually get out of it. I will also agree with them and say yes there are negative outlooks about it, but to every situation there is a positive and I think people today need to learn that!!
Facebook has many good things and many bad things, but I will start with the bad things first just so that I can end this on a good note. First of all, people can create a new identity and then become what we call “facebook stalker” even though we throw that term around as a joke; it really does happen and can lead to not so good things. I will let you be the decider of those things. Second you can pretty much show anything you want on there, and sometimes people take that for granted and go above and beyond and that’s when those people find themselves in jail, without a job and even homeless. For instance I myself have to be careful about my profile picture because I am in sports and want to continue my dreams without a complication. But that’s only two that I can think of, if someone has more please informing me!!
Now to the positives, there is a lot of people out there that have things to express and things they want to do in life, but yet they might now be social grounded and have trouble with that. So they meet people on facebook and learn how to become social able!! Another is that it is an escape from everyday activities such as TV, drugs possibly, talking on the phone and wasting parents phone bill, ha-ha. Final is that it’s a way to meet new and exciting people, I have met four of my best friends on facebook just because of what I put for my interest and how we compare to each other.
So I am going to end this by saying yes I might now have covered all the topics here, but I covered the main topics in which people normally argue about. So to all of you facebook lovers and facebook haters, take a moment and research this and get back to me, but keep an open mind.
